Space for a future travel agency in the past used by several tenants. With each tenant, layers of various materials have been added which have completely overwhelmed the valuable, distinctive and expressive features of this space. Initial hunches and subsequent probes showed us that the room was hiding a little more. Below the original soffit we find a segmental ceiling with late 19th century traverses. Subsequent cleaning finds a decorative stencil mural. This survives on the ceiling and partly on the side walls. The painting draws on classical motifs. According to KPU Trenčín, it is "a unique example of this type of decoration in MPR Trenčín. The painting is being partially restored and the rest is being treated. We choose the ceiling and the painting as a distinctive dominant feature of the space. The rest of the space we tune so that the painting does not compete with the oak furniture, fine toned carpet or upholstery of chairs. Even though it is an urban conservation area, within the interior the investor or tenant can do whatever they want, even though the interior of the parterre directly interacts with the public space. We believe that this interior will be pleasant not only for the users but also for the passers-by.
